“STEM Birds”, “we”, “our”, and “us” refer to the owner and operator of https://www.stembirds.com.au. “User”, “you”, and “your” mean the individual accessing or using our Services, whether as a parent/guardian, student, or third party. “Participant” refers to the individual enrolled in a STEM Birds program (typically a child aged 5–18). “Content” includes all course materials, videos, guides, worksheets, and activities provided through our Services.

To register a child for a program, you must be 18 years or older. By enrolling, you confirm that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian or have the legal authority to act on their behalf. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration, and ensure that the participant meets the course’s age and skill level requirements.

STEM Birds provides a variety of STEM-focused educational offerings, including term-based classes (online and in person), weekend and holiday workshops, competitions, and camps. We may modify, update, or discontinue any of our programs at our discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of significant changes.

All program fees are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). Full payment is required before a program begins. Enrolments are not accepted or confirmed without payment, and we cannot guarantee a place for your child until payment has been received.

Payment methods include secure credit/debit card transactions, bank transfers, and approved third-party providers. Sibling discounts or payment plans may be offered as listed in program details.

If a participant joins mid-term or cannot attend all sessions, you may request a prorated fee. Please contact us prior to payment to make arrangements. Once processed, fees are final and not subject to further adjustment.

STEM Birds maintains a no-refund policy for all programs, including term classes, workshops, and holiday sessions. However, if you encounter unexpected circumstances, we invite you to contact us directly. We assess each situation individually and may offer a credit or refund at our discretion.

If your child misses a session after the program has started, we do not provide refunds. Subject to availability, make-up classes may be offered, but you must notify us at least one day in advance. For online programs, session recordings will be provided instead of make-up classes. In the case of a session cancellation by STEM Birds, you will receive either a rescheduled class, a credit, or a refund for that specific session.

For holiday programs, once your enrolment is confirmed and payment is completed, refunds will not be provided. Exceptions may be made in case of verified medical emergencies or other significant circumstances, assessed case by case.
